Football players transform celebrations into brands

After Bale and his heart, jude Bellingham with arms wide open, Rashford and his index finger on his temple or Kylian Mbappé with his famous crossed arms celebration, it is now Cole Palmer who is trying to transform his celebration into a registered trademark as his intellectual property.

Chelsea’s serial goalscorer has established himself not only through his talent, but also through a now iconic celebration.

Inspired by his former Manchester City teammate Morgan Rogers, who created the celebration, Palmer performed it for the first time against Luton Town in late December 2023. It has since become a signature move. Cole Palmer has decided to turn the celebration into a business. The Blues striker is preparing to launch a series of merchandise under his new trademark, Cold Palmer.
