It premiered on September 23, 2013, on the network. In February 2022,
 the series was renewed for a tenth season, which premiered on February 26, 2023.
 In February 2023, it was announced that the tenth season would be the series' finale.
 The series ended on July 13, 2023.


 is an American television series that tells the story of Raymond Reddington, one of the world's most wanted criminals. He decides to surrender to the FBI and help find other criminals.

In the series, James Spader, aka Raymond "Red" Reddington, is a highly wanted criminal determined to surrender to the authorities. 

 Reddington maintains that several events are linked, and he has valuable information that could be decisive in finding those responsible.

His first request to spill the beans? 
To speak only to Elizabeth Keen , 
played by the excellent Megan Boone, 
a new FBI agent with no experience whatsoever, 
something that's a little hard to believe given the character's ease in her role as a privileged intermediary with the most wanted criminal.

 He then reveals to her that a kidnapping will take place, leading to an attack in Washington.

The action scenes are extremely well-executed and would have absolutely nothing to be ashamed of in front of the blockbusters in our movie theaters.

Actor James Spader is quite believable in his role as the arrogant, shrewd, and mysterious thug. The entire series will revolve around his character and that of Agent Keen.


In my eyes, The Blacklist is a masterpiece.
Each season is full of treasure troves of intrigue, all perfectly executed by James Spader, who plays Raymond Reddington, a gifted criminal who hunts the worst criminals on the planet.
I can't forget Megan Boone, aka Elizabeth Keane, a beautiful, impetuous, and fiery brunette who accompanies our hero on breathtaking adventures. Her regrettable departure from the series in no way diminished the charm of the series, 
carried to the very end by its main hero.

We can only see that the story had to adapt based on the departures from the cast. 
Too mainstream, some characters uninteresting or annoying.

 Raymond, despite everything, remains a fascinating character.
The Blacklist is a cult series, quite simply art.
