SCANDAL

Scandal is an American television series in 124 episodes of 41 minutes each created by Shonda Rhimes and broadcast April 5, 2012 ...

Starring:

Kerry Washington 👉 Olivia pope

The series' main character, Olivia Pope, is inspired by a real-life figure, Judy Smith, who worked in the White House during the George Bush administration as a crisis management officer.
She serves as an executive producer on the show.

The professional and personal lives of public relations expert Olivia Pope, renowned for her crisis management, and her staff, composed of junior and senior lawyers,

a litigation expert, a hacker, and a detective. Fitzgerald Grant, the President of the United States, is an old friend of Olivia's who asks for her help when one of her assistants spreads rumors that they're sleeping together.

And this is just the beginning of a much larger scandal with disastrous repercussions...

👉 The series evolves in the same universe as the series Murder with notably a crossover in episode 12 of season 7 of Scandal and in episode 13 of season 4 of Murder.

👉
A Renowned Creator
Scandal is the third series created and produced by Shonda Rhimes, following Grey's Anatomy and Private Practice

👉 It is the first not set in the medical field.
Diversity
By casting Kerry Washington as Olivia Pope, Shonda Rhimes made Scandal the first network series in three decades to feature an African-American woman as its protagonist. Unusually, it also features an interracial relationship between Olivia and President Fitz.

👉Personally, I don't like the character of Olivia Pope, but why, will remain incomprehensible to many people who read and follow the blog (dudexpubinfo.blogspot.com).

👉 Olivia Pope has done many wonderful things to correct the injustices that can be done to people, to take the lead in avoiding judicial errors, but before she took this position, she was complicit in the criminal actions of the Grant team to rig the elections, which has tarnished her image.

👉 For what has to do with her concubinage relationship with President Grant is not correct even though what she says she feels is love.

Darby Stanchfield 👉Abby Whelan

Darby grew up in Alaska, where her father was a fisherman. She later moved to Dutch Harbor in the Aleutian Islands and then to Mercer Island near Seattle.

She continued her studies at the University of Puget Sound, earning her bachelor's degree in communications and theater in 1993. She earned a Master of Arts (MFA) from the American Conservatory of Theatre in San Francisco in 1998.

She made her acting debut in the 2000s, appearing in an episode of the television series Diagnosis: Murder.

She appeared in numerous hit series, including Cold Case, The Mentalist, Monk, Missing in Action, Bones, and Nip/Tuck, as well as a guest appearance on the sitcom How I Met Your Mother.

In 2004, she starred in her first television movie, the Harvey Frost-directed romance A Christmas Sweetheart on the Hallmark Channel.

On film, she starred alongside Josh Duhamel, also making his acting debut, in The Picture of Dorian Gray.

from BRIC to BRICS+

It was 4 countries to start with (bric) Brazil , Russia ,  India and China .... The term bric was coined by a Goldman Sachs investment bank economist named Jim O'Neill who first used it in a meeting he had with the group in 2001. Then they added South Africa as a country with rapid economic growth. This term first appeared in a note by Jim O'Neill, an economist at the investment bank Goldman Sachs, and was taken up again in a report published by two economists from the same bank.   The BRICS + is now a group of ten countries—Brazil, Russia, India, China, South Africa, Iran, Egypt, the United Arab Emirates, Indonesia , and Ethiopia—aiming to rival the Group of Seven .  The BRICs are high-growth countries whose weight in the global economy is increasing at the beginning of the 21st century.  The BRICS countries use their national currencies to trade among themselves to reduce the influence of the dollar in world trade so that the United States cannot use th...
